This tour provides you an excellent overview of the Kingdom Of Bhutan with emphasis on Hiking, but staying each night in comfortable hotels and guesthouses. You will visit Bhutan’s most scenic valleys, Paro, Thimphu, Punakha and Phobjikha, where you will see a wide variety of flora and fauna, including rhododendrons in the spring and blacked cranes in winter.
This is one of the most popular treks in Bhutan. This short and scenic trek allows you to enjoy Bhutan’s great views and beautiful lakes. It leads up to altitudes above 4,000m. However, it is not too strenuous as the walking distance between camps are not too long. Besides the lakes, the Phadjoding monastery is one of the highlights of this trek.
The 13 Days Gantey Cultural trek is possible throughout the whole winter. The best seasons for this trek are from March to May and September to November. This short, relatively easy trek will take you to beautiful villages and monasteries. It also takes you from one of the winter roosting places of black necked crane.
This trek begins from Ngang Lhahang, to Ugyen Choling, and passes through the Chamkhar Chu river. This package brings you to beautiful forested areas and gives you a chance to visit the treasure house of interesting religious Buddhist paintings, where you’ll get to learn the local Bhutanese way of life.
This unique journey into central Bhutan is like a discrete celebration. Trek across hidden valleys and be treated to cultural encounters and deeply personal interactions that you would never experience on your own. You will visit the town of Paro, the hills of the Spiritual Bumthang, temples and sacred monuments. You’ll walk through tiny terraced hamlets perched high above the river.
The 15 Days Jumolhari Trek is the most popular trek in Bhutan. The highlight of this trek is the spectacular view of Mount Jomolhari from Jomolhari Basecamp, Jangothang. This whole trek goes through a small part of the Jigme Singye National Park, and passes a few of the Yak herder’s settlement and even the remotest region of Lingshi. Travellers should be reasonably physically fit to enjoy the majestic mountain views.
The best time for Merak and Sakten Trek is from March to Apr & October to November, however, it is possible throughout the whole winter months too. This short trek will takes you through some villages of Tashigang Valley with a hot stone bath also available on the final day of the trek.
During the flight on a clear day, you will get to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjungha, and other famous Himalayan peaks including sacred Mount Jumolhari and Jichu Drake Peaks in Bhutan. Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The drive to Thimphu is about 1 an hour. On route, enjoy the view of the valley of Thimphu and river through a rather arid and Rocky landscape.
The flight to Paro crosses the Himalayan Mountains, affording spectacular views of the awesome peaks, including the sacred Jumolhari and Jichu Drake peaks in Bhutan. On arrival you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you can visit the Paro Dzong. It was built in 1646 and now houses government offices and religious institutions, as do all the Dzongs (forts) currently. You’ll cross a traditional wooden bridge on the way to the Dzong. Afterward you will visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. In the evening you can stroll through the Paro market and town.
